Secret Sharing Scheme (S3)

Secret Sharing Scheme

Preventing a single individual from accessing decrypted ballots by themself.

The private key used to decrypt ballots can also be divided into shares among members of the electoral board using a secret sharing scheme. This means that instead of all members having access to the entire key, each individual member holds just a small part of it. Thus, no one person can decrypt the votes alone, ensuring that consensus is reached and that all electoral processes are completed before vote decryption.

Benefits

Divided Private Key

No single member of the electoral board can decrypt ballots alone.
